Reaction Paper.....

Loreland Farm Resort was an ideal place or venue for holding special events including seminars, meetings, birthday, wedding, anniversary, baptismal, and for business purposes as it offered function rooms, reception areas, seminar halls and other event facilities. The employees were efficient and intuitive for their technical support and assistance during our seminar and overnight stay.

In the seminar proper, I have learned additional knowledge about Events Management. I knew that learning Events Management is not only on preparing and anticipating the good flow and success of an event. It is also about on managing problems and hindrances that might be occurred before, during and after of an event. I’ve learned also that Events Management is about resolving conflicts among the leader and members involved and eliminating errors and imperfections due to financial and time constraints. Possible solutions should be made like having back-up plans and support concept papers and statements. Giving great efforts and initiative will be worth it. I have learned also about basic marketing concepts that were an advantage as an HRM student.
This another wonderful experience gave a brilliant idea that life is like an event, we do not know if it will be successful or will lead to failure unless you have initiative to give your full and great efforts to make the best of it and achieve what you want to happen. There are some conflicts and problems, but you must have the faith and courage to face it by upgrading your self-confidence and self-esteem to make it the best. Have some fallbacks and alternative plans in case of uncertainties and accept changes that at the end of the day, everything will be consistent and stable.
This another kind of experience will serve as wonderful memories of making precious moments together enjoying while learning. The knowledge that I’ve learned during my 4 years of studying Hotel and Restaurant Management, will also serve as a tool for me to apply the knowledge I’ve gained in the real hotel and restaurant industry and in any other field.
