Bohol-Cebu Convention and exposure Trip

Bohol-Cebu Tour
December 1, 2010

I have not decided if I would go to Bohol or not….. A good friend Glenn suggested seeing his resort in Bohol – Bohol Coconut Palms Resort but unfortunately with a little time we have with my friend and colleague Gela, we went and explored Bohol for about four hours instead having to stay overnight. There were no available transportation in Bohol aside for a private van or car I just remembered Bali hehehe…. We couldn’t travel by taxi, we instead rented a van. Our first stop was in Loboc river had a sumptuous buffet lunch by the river with bands singing old “kundiman” songs – the songs just inspired me of going back to the 80’s. After that we went to the hanging bridge. I bought “pasalubong” at the end of the bridge. Manangs were selling pasalubong and the cute tarsiers.:) I gotthe pasalubong for my friends way back home! “It’s the thought that counts though!” We saw the real tarsiers in Brgy. Agape Loboc. We need not to worry the driver has become our tour guide. We also came to visit the chocolate hills…It was a short stay in Bohol have to go back to Cebu for the convention.

Succeeding days
December  3-5, 2010
Holiday Plaza Hotel - We went for ocular visit in Holiday Plaza. The people were courteous at the reception. Food was ordinary nothing special. We just enjoyed the view at the top were in we could see the buildings and the lights at night in Cebu.
Waterfront Hotel - The Port Restaurant in Waterfront Hotel had 150php ++ on their seafood buffet. I enjoyed the buffet with all the healthy seafood dishes they offered. Cocktails were on 59php – 100php compared to Marco Polo’s CafĂ© which catered cocktails and drinks on 155php – 250php. Buffet around 10pm to 2am.
We had an ocular visit to Waterfront Hotel. The hotel has a very spacious lobby. We visited an array of restaurants inside the hotel. The hotel welcomed us with its large Christmas tree and a Alice in the Wonderland theme.
Crowne Regency Hotel - The Crowne Regency Hotel  had a nice dinner and an adventure edge coaster and skywalk at 750++php but we did not have our dinner in this hotel we rather chose The Port.
The Grand Prix Hotel  - economy business hotel
It was a nice and cozy place in the Grand Prix Hotel. It’s an economy class hotel but a good one. The rates ranges from 990php to 2,00php. On the second floor of the building was a Spa. I would go back to Cebu and have a Spa in the Nature Spa for only 280php. The service was good and the rates were affordable. I had a Swedish Massage.
