Explore Philippines - Callao Cave

My student's adventure at Callao Cave

Callao Cave

It is located in Barangays Parabba and Quibal, Peñablanca, near Tuguegarao, the capital city of the Province of Cagayan. I visited this place because it’s my first time to go to Cagayan, and I really love to see caves. This cave has 7 chambers and one of the best known tourist attractions of the baranggay Peñablanca. The cave has a natural cathedral on the first chamber and has 3-4 crevices which allows natural light illumination, so even without having to bring a headlamp or any form of light, you will not be lost. Unlike any other caves, Callao cave is very easy to explore and requires only little endurance, that’s why it is ideal also for a family destination. We also go to the lake beside it, cause its clear water and it’s not crowded so we really do enjoyed the water and the place as well.
