Speaking Of Korea!

I want to share with you the write-ups of my students. Enjoy reading:)

DESTINATION (DREAM DESTINATION/ FAVORITE DESTINATION)

To be honest I haven’t traveled any destination outside Philippines. But the very first destination that I would like to travel if given a chance is SOUTH KOREA! I want to experience a snow. South Korea lies in a humid continental and humid subtropical climate region with a predominantly mountainous terrain. In Korea, the beauty of the 4 season’s spring, summer, fall, and winter can each be appreciated for their own virtues. After the passing of spring, summer, and fall, Korea is transformed into a snowy wonderland. During the winter season, many start turning their eyes to the ski resorts.

Can you imagine that there were 13 ski resorts in Korea?

And speaking of Korea, do you know that you shouldn’t miss going to SEOUL? Seoul is the largest city in Korea. It is also one of the top 20 world class cities.

View of Gangnam from the World Trade Center Seoul

This Banpo Bridge is the major bridge in downtown Seoul over the Han River. It is the world’s longest bridge fountain with nearly 10,000 LED nozzles that run along both sides that is 1,140m long, shooting out 190 tons of water per minute. It is called the Moonlight Rainbow Fountain. It also shows the Seoul’s eco- friendliness wherein the water that is being pumped came naturally in the river. SO GREAT!

Gyeongbokgung Palace. It is a royal place located at Northern Seoul. If you’re going to translated this word into English it will be, “Palace of Shining Happiness.” It was the main and largest palace of the Five Grand Palaces built by the Joseon Dynasty.

Next, do you want to see the beautiful waves crashing? I should also go to Jeju Island.

And the last thing that you shouldn’t miss is the LOTTE WORLD. It is the world’s largest indoor amusement park. Another Guinness World Record!
