Floating library docks in Manila port -

MANILA Mayor Alfredo Lim on Friday invited students, teachers and parents to come and visit the floating library, MV Logos Hope, even as he welcomed to the city the captain and crew of the said vessel.

“Every year, MV Logos Hope comes here to provide Filipino students an opportunity to buy quality books at cheaper prices,” Lim said.

Logos Hope, which is docked at Pier 15 of Manila’s South Harbor, will be open to the public until March 13.

MV Logos Hope is operated by GBA Ships E.V., a non-profit organization based in Germany which operates ships, including the MV Doulos, which also sails around the world and known for their floating book fairs.
