I had time uploading the articles of my students because of my surgery. I can't walk without my crutches. I am glad to see the sunshine but I am definitely missing going around.
TRAVEL AND TOURISM.
• Travel is movement of people between relatively distant geographical locations for any purpose and any duration, with or without any means of transport. Travel also includes relatively short stay between successive movements. Movements between locations requiring only a few minutes are not considered as travel. (www.wikipedia.org)
• The term "travel" originates from the Middle English word travail. The term also covers all the activities performed during a travel (movement). (www.wikipedia.org)
• Tourism is travel for recreational, leisure or business purposes. The World Tourism Organization defines tourists as people who "travel to and stay in places outside their usual environment for more than twenty-four (24) hours and not more than one consecutive year for leisure, business and other purposes not related to the exercise of an activity remunerated from within the place visited." (www.wikipedia.org)
• Tourism is vital for many countries, such as France, Egypt, Greece, United States, Spain, Italy and Thailand, and many island nations, such as The Bahamas, Fiji, Maldives, Philippines and the Seychelles, due to the large intake of money for businesses with their goods and services and the opportunity for employment in the service industries associated with tourism. These service industries include transportation services, such as airlines, cruise ships and taxicabs, hospitality services, such as accommodations, including hotels and resorts, and entertainment venues, such as amusement parks, casinos, shopping malls, music venues and theatres. (www.wikipedia.org)
• Tourism is a dynamic, evolving, consumer- driven force. It is the world’s largest industry if all its interrelated components are placed under one umbrella: travel, lodging, conventions, expositions, meetings, events, restaurants, managed service and recreation. DESTINATION (DREAM DESTINATION/ FAVORITE DESTINATION)
• United Arab Emirates
I visited UAE because my parents and my youngest brother are residing there. I also lived there for almost a year. Being in UAE is an awesome experience, I learned a lot of things about Arabs. I also met people with different nationalities and they became my friends. I learned tons of things from them, the culture of their own countries and how simple their life is. My stay in UAE is indeed an inspiring journey. It would take hours if I’ll tell everything.
